Hi, I’m Albert Costill—and I write.
My first writing gig was with a music blog network, where I ran a blog called Smells Like Alternative. As a passion project, it taught me the basic concepts of voice, tone, and audience engagement. In the years that followed, my writing career took off. Over close to two decades, I’ve contributed to various outlets, including AMOG, EveryGuyed, LinkPatrol, ForRent, Search Engine Journal (SEJ), Calendar.com, Due.com, and Entrepreneur. For fun, I’ve also shared some of my travels over at World Travelers Union.
Throughout the years, I have specialized in content marketing, digital strategy, and entrepreneurship. In fact, one of my proudest professional moments was co-writing the SEJ white paper “What Works in Content Marketing: Case Studies & Tools for Success.” It’s a practical guide explaining how real brands approach content marketing, and it’s still a go-to resource for marketers today.
